On October 19th the sun was shining, a warm fall breeze was gently blowing, and colorful red, yellow and orange leaves painted the skyline when each of the eight kindergarten classrooms boarded buses and headed to Silver Bell Farm in Monson, MA for a busy day filled with fall fun.
Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Erin Keane, explained that students enjoyed a variety of activities including decorating and eating gingerbread cookies, participating in a scavenger hunt, picking and decorating pumpkins, enjoying a train ride and hayride, travelling through a hay maze, playing a variety of games and exploring the playground area.
The trip is funded by the Ludlow Elementary PTO. "We are very fortunate that the PTO generously paid for this trip," stated Keane. "Everyone had an amazing time."
Many thanks to the teachers who shared the photos from the trip that capture the excitement and fun experienced by the students, in the video below. ENJOY!
