On Tuesday, November 21st, the preschool classes at East Street School joined one another for a reenactment of the first Thanksgiving.  Having learned about this special day in American history, students had fun decorating long tablecloths and making either a Pilgrim hat or Native American head gear to wear at the celebration.

The preschool classes joined one another to role play the first Thanksgiving; gathering around welcoming tables, as they enjoyed snacks and chatted with friends, old and new.

Following the feast, students enjoyed the classic video, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, before heading home for the holiday break.
